I am so excited for the upcoming release at Simon Says Stamp on May 16th that I had to whip together this eclectic and bright card to share with you!!  This card was created with a new stamp and die set called Scribble Flowers.  It comes with a fantastic accompanying die set (not used here) but I played around with the dies and they are FABULOUS!!  Very versatile and funky!

I used watercolor and masking techniques to create the flower arrangement with my Distress Inks and Markers.  The black ink is Hero Arts Black Dye Ink - an awesome ink to use with any watercolor technique.  (can you tell I'm in the middle of the Watercolor for Cardmakers class right now? *wink*) I hand drew the grass in at the bottom with my Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint Distress Markers.

My sentiment is from the You stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  I embellished my card with some black and wood varnish sequins and a strip of Basic Grey paper along with some black cardstock.  I also ran a quick bit of zig zag stitching for some visual balance.
