Right now the MFT Guest Designer Challenge is on - the theme? Rip and Roll. When you see my creations you'll see what I mean! My second creation also pulls in this week's MFT sketch challenge #35.
I started by choosing my MFT Pure Innocence - Butterfly Kisses set. I inked her up using black Momento ink and then colored her with Copics. I paper pieced her jumper with patterned paper and her wings with sparkly, gold velum.
I used the following MFT Die-Namics on this card:
My second creation pulls in this week's sketch:
As I was creating this - pulling all kinds of mixey and matchy papers, I decided that this card would be perfect for my DD's upcoming 7th birthday! I used lots of her favorite colors combined with an eclectic mix of patterns and papers to pull in her own unique style I knew this card would be perfect for her! So I've tucked it away quickly so that she doesn't see it! I've used the same File Tab Die-namic as shown above on the front of my card. I used many papers - lots of which were laying on my table from previous creations.
I used MFT's Pure Innocence - Fairy Girl for this creation. I did trim off the ground and her wings so that it blended a bit more easily with my design.
I used the sentiment on the front snugged into my File Tab.
Here is a shot of the interior:
I've used the following MFT Die-namics for the interior:
As you can see, I've hand rolled 7 candles using MFT Baker's Twine for the wicks. I used the Dizzy Doily cut in craft as the background for the candles and the Notched Tag with a felt heart as an accent.
I hope you've had as crafty a weekend as I have!!
Thanks for popping by!
