I have another fun Betty creation to show you this evening! I used Back To School Betty. Isn't she simply RAD??? I totally love her!
I printed Betty on cream cardstock, on 2 different patterned designer papers and once more on PTI pink cardstock. I then paper pieced her entire outfit, sweater, skirt and blouse. It's such a fun technique and adds such great depth and dimension to a project.
The rest of Betty is colored in using my Copic and Prismacolor markers. I used black colored pencil to shade in her art caddy and my Quickie Glue pen to glitter up her Batty friends, socks and sneakers.
I used my Charcoal Grey Souffle pen to color the majority of her sneakers in.
I matted her to the same light pink PTI cardstock that her blouse is done in and then stitched them together. My card base is also PTI red cardstock followed by line ruled paper from a mat stack. I ran a length of ribbon creating the bow at the bottom. I added Betty using 3-D adhesive and then lastly using my glittery black stickers added my sentiment 'School Is Cool' to the bottom
I hope you enjoy!!
XOXO
