Smeared Ink - 3 different ways

Hey All!!! Greetings on this fabulous Monday evening!! Today I bring you a card using 3 of my very favorite sets from Smeared Ink. Elementals, Nymphs and Killer Bo Peep.
I started with my main image "Earth Elementals" - just a gorgeous image. I stamped her in Tuxedo Black ink from Momento. I colored her with my Copics and my Sakura gel pens. I used the leaves from the Killer Bo Peep set to frame Earth. I colored them in with my lightest Sakura gel pen so that it looks as if they are floating or hovering over and around her.

I used the frame from the gorgeous Nymphs set to frame the word Goddess from the Elementals set. I stamped the frame in Lettuce Green in Ranger Ink and then took my gold paint pen and gave it a Baroque vibe to it.

I used a multitude of Designer Papers that I stitched and layered to give this a mixy and matchy feel.
I truly love how this came out. I feel like it's very ethereal in its vibe yet modern and punky enough to feel like it came from my hands.

I hope you enjoy and have been inspired!!

XOXO-

Smeared Ink Fabulosity on a Monday Morning!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I was so excited this month that I received Killer Bo Peep to add to my Smeared Ink collection!!!
She's creepy, snarky and twisted all at the same time! My type of gal!! ;) I went with a color palette of black, red, and yellow. I stamped Bo in Momento Ink in Tuxedo Black and carefully colored her in with my Copic markers and red Sakura gel pen.

My card base is SU!'s Real Red followed by Tinkering Ink - Black and White. The yellow DP is also SU!.
I stamped Bo twice and trimmed out her hair bow and using 3-D foam adhesive added it on top of her existing bow for some added dimension.
I wanted to add some of my pom pom fringe but the card was too narrow for it to hang properly so I trimmed off the pom poms and added them in a little cluster on the right hand side. They, in some abstract way, look to me like little monsters with the strings that look like weird antennae.
I also used the mushroom stamp that comes with this awesome set. I colored them with my Copics as well and trimmed them apart setting them almost like Bo's body guards!
My final touch was adding some black pearls in the lower left hand corner to visually balance the weight of the red pom poms on the right.
I used the sentiment "Wanna Play?" which I love because it is OH so snarky!!

I hope you enjoyed my creation for today!!! Please come hang with us over at the Smeared Ink Forum. It is DEFINITELY the place to be!!

XOXO
Meredith
