Something for Everyone

my grandmother is one of those ladies who has everything and really doesn't like much. so i find it incredibly hard to buy gifts for her. unless i want to spend $500 at Coach...and with 2 kiddies under 3...life doesn't afford me such luxuries any more. *sigh*

so as if getting into this amazing craft wasn't simply gratifying enough in and of itself...i find that i can make something for ANYONE...including my very hard to buy grandmother.

so i've made her some personalized note cards. now....unfortunately there is no actual stamping on these cards...but i know her and she wouldn't appreciate anything that was too multidimensional or 'fussy'. so i kept it clean, simple and elegant. and i think she's really going to like them!!! i also made a matching jumbo paperclip bookmark which i know she'll use because she loves to read.

Basic Recipe for Note cards:

Cardstock: Vintage Violet, Very Vanilla, Misc DP from an old Matte Stack i had kicking around

Embellishments: 1 1/4 " SU! circle punch, Cuttlebug used for die cut letters

Basic Recipe for Clip:

*jumbo paper clip - purchased at Target

*chipboard coasters purchased at EP

*DP from misc Matte Stack

*Making Memories rhinestone brad

*E6000 adhesive
