And we breathe a collective sigh of relief that it's FRIDAY!! Which means another Fabulous Inky Friday is upon us! I needed a girlie birthday card for one of my daughter's friends this weekend. She is having a gymnastics party so I, of course, immediately went to Georgia The Gymnast for this creation. Isn't she darling??
I printed her twice, (well in all honesty, I printed her 4 times!!) once on white cardstock and then on green, pink and polka dotted paper. I couldn't decide which I wanted to use!! In the end I ended up going with pink. I colored Georgia in with my Copics and then paper piece her.
I layered, scalloped and stitched SU! cardstock and MFT papers. On the hot pink and chocolate brown cardstock behind Georgia, I've stamped music notes using Versamark Ink. I added a flourish of pink bling behind her that I ended up using SU! fine Supernova glitter to extend the sparkly look from her hands.
I hope you enjoy and have a very creative day!!!
Don't forget to come and play with us at the Challenge Blog!! We have our fabulous weekly challenge going on now with an added bonus twist that you won't want to miss!
Meredith, your card is lovely! Your coloring is awesome...I'm so jealous of you talented people I see doing such amazing things with shading and highlighting! Some day...I just need to keep practicing. =) Thank you for the love of my Tiddly Inks card! I wanted to let you know that I used both scissors (for the entire outside) and a craft knife (for the 4 parts in her hair that did not connect to an outside edge). Hugs!!
Soooo cute! :)
I LOVE the colors in this one! Don't you just love how you can print out the digi images as tiny or as huge as you want? That's a definite draw for me over rubber - although rubber will always have a place in my heart... :)
Aamazing card Meredith! Love how you coloured the image!
Fab coloring, girly! LOVE the papers and bling too! xxD
