Good Evening All!! I'm here on this beautiful evening to bring you this month's awesome Bombshell Sketch issued by our fabulous DT Coordinator - Kathi!
This month I've used Rise and Shine as my focal point. SUCH a fun set. I use it all the time. I stamped my main image three times. Twice on white cardstock and once on my patterned paper from my DCWV Hippie Chic. All of my coordinating papers are from the same stack.
I colored my beautiful Bombshell with my Copics and paper piece her bathing suit. I colored only her left leg on the second image I stamped on the white cardstock and trimmed it out. I used foam adhesive to pop her leg out of the hammock. I stitched around my circles that were cut out using my Nesties and set it aside.
My cardbase is 5.5" square. I trimmed out all of my "quilted" squares, adhered them to my vanilla cardstock and then stitched them all using my sewing machine. My cardbase is Kraft cardstock. My embellishments include turquoise bling flourishes, pearl floral pins, scalloped apron punch, apple green SU! grosgrain ribbon and natural colored linen twine. I used small tag dies from Cuttlebug to hold my "Love Ya" sentiment.
I finished off my interior simply. I used three pieces of cardstock. Vanilla, patterned and glitter turquoise. My sentiment is heat set using clear embossing powder and Colorbox ink. I also added a bit of twine on my interior.
