Greetings Everyone!! I'm SO happy to be here with you today for this amazing cause!! I've joined in on the Cards For Kids bloghop!!
You should have come to me via the Lawn Fawn Blog .
We were not required but I used one of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets, Sew Lovely.
Using white PTI cardstock I stamped the squiggly border along the bottom in Brilliance Rocket Red Gold and heat set it. I then cut 2 strips of regular yellow paper from a legal pad and added it as my main focal point. I figured with school lessons coming up it would lend itself nicely to this project. I added adhesive and began my pleating.
I then stamped my sentiment in Colorbox Harbor Blue ink and heat set it. I trimmed it out, rounded 3 out of 4 corners and edged the entire panel in black ink to make it pop.
I then stamped the buttons from the Sew Lovely Set in Rocket Red Gold, Harbor Blue and Pearlescent Yellow. I heat embossed them, trimmed them out and added them on with 3-D foam adhesive. I then added matching real buttons diagonally across from them in the lower left hand corner.
I'm so glad I was able to participate in this great cause!!
After leaving me some love please hop over to Tiffany's blog!!
Thanks for visiting!!!
XOXO-
Meredith
