Simply Betty Challenge Friday!

 

Hello!!!  Welcome to another awesome Simply Betty Friday!!!  This week's challenge is to create an all white card!  Definitely not as easy as it may sound!!  We were also challenged to use Miller and Rio in our creation. 

I started by pulling some white/ivory designer papers, ribbons and cardstock.  I then printed my images, colored them with my Copic markers and Prisma pencils.

I layered and stitched all of my DP and Cardstock.  I cut the heart out using my Cricut, stamped it with a large, doily-esque stamp using my Versamark ink, coated it with white embossing powder and heat set it.  I love the quiet dimension it lends to the heart! 

I then added Miller and Rio to the front of my card using foam squares.

QKD Special Hop!! New New Newness!!

Welcome on a delicious Friday with all kinds of fabu newness from The Castle!! You should be arriving here from the QKD blog.

We are hopping along today to introduce you to our newest line of amazing wowness!! May I present to you Sin Bonnet Sue!!
She's snarky, hardcore, and simply divine in my opinion!!! I practically BEGGED to work with this set as it's just so me. The sentiment, the image, the vibe...all of it. My card measures 4x4 starting with black cardstock.
SBS is colored in with my Copics and Sakura gel pens. Matted with Basic Grey grungy red and popped up on 3-D foam adhesive. Matted behind her is new paper that I bought at Michael's and behind that is another scrap of the BG delicious red paper. I border punched along the bottom with my new aces, spades, clubs, etc border punch. My sentiment is trimmed out and backed on the same new dark-esque paper and literally pinned to the card...fitting...don't you think??
