C'mon and play along!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's easy and fun!!!
xoxo-
She is simply divine!!! Sassy and sexy and simply mesmerizing!!! As all mermaids are!!! I think that's their job!! =) *wink*
of each other yet obviously together!
, along with my silver paint pen. Her mirror is bedazzled with vintage silver real glass glitter and her gorgeous tail is covered in Making Memories scrapbook shimmer in Lilac. I used my Lyra aquacolor crayons and water painted her rock perch. She is stamped in (what else? - I barely use any other brand of ink!) Brilliance Pigment Ink in Pearlescent Crimson.

So I just wanted to show you one of her any my daughter's most recent creations. This GORGEOUS crown!!! I have snagged it
and put it in a safe place in my studio
so that it doesn't get discarded, torn or forgotten about. The second my daughter walked into my house wearing this after being over at Auntie's I thought she looked JUST like Max from Where The Wild Things Are!!!

Hello!!!! If you've bounced here from the Amazing Alex then you are on the right hop!!!

I've been wanting to use this for a while. It came in a pile of things that a friend gave me a long time ago and it's just been kickin' around in my "alterables" basket waiting to be chosen for just the right project.

Ink: Colorbox Craft Ink - Brown
with a dab of hot glue and added to lower outer edge with 'red liner' tape.
Just wanted to share my third submission with you when I applied to QKD! My inspiration was our 1979 Toyota Landcruiser
that my husband and I purchased for each other as our wedding gift to each other almost 13 years ago!! =)
I've used the QKD speedometer
in SO many ways and I have another card to show you another time that I used it for in a TOTALLY different manner but I've found it SO versatile for both feminine and masculine cards!! It's a MUST have!!! And it's on sale!! NOW!! RUN!!! DON'T WALK!! ;)
Instructions for “Landcruiser Love” Tag Style Card:
Large Manila Tag 8 ½” x 4” – (purchased at one of my LSS and I think they were just the house brand or ordered specifically from an office supply company – no tags on them)
Layer 2 – Top – base matte - SU! Buckaroo Blue (retired)
Layer 2 – Bottom – base matte – SU! Bravo
Layer 3 – QKD Distressed Speedometer!! ;)
Embellishments
Back of Card
· Basic Grey in Arithmetic measured at 7 ¼” x 3 ½

Similar to my first submission, I had not yet had any QKD stamps in my stash so I used what I had.

I am SO excited as this is my first post on the WIS blog as a WIS!!! I'm thrilled beyond words to be able to create with these AMAZINGLY talented women and these GORGEOUS images!!! I'm too lucky!!!

everyone!!! I'm still working with the few QKD stamps that I have as I anxiously await the big order that I placed!!! I'm amazed at how much I've been able to do with just 3 stamps!!! I have another card that I just did to play around with this Distressed Speedometer but this is the sketch card that I have to show you today so that'll have to wait for another day!!
Not that creating for creatings sake isn't just fabulous in and of itself but to be given a challenge or an assignment is somehow different for me.
It pushes me to do just THAT much better or try that much harder to go out of my comfort zone. I'm not sure that makes much sense but it does to me! =)

I popped her out of his cardboard slumber and coated him in Olive Green craft ink and heat embossed her. I then covered him AGAIN in Brown craft ink (both Colorbox brand) and heat embossed her again. Before it dried I took my piercing tool and haphazardly drew lines all over her to make her look like she has feathers. I think it *sort of* worked ;)
I love how she turned out!!! Thanks as always for reading!!!
