I was asked to make invitations for a surprise retirement party. I wanted to make them summery, yet simple and not fussy. But I wanted there to be a little *zip* to them. So here's what I came up with! And I have to say, I'm really happy with the end result. I hope my client likes them!!!
Basic Recipe:
Cardstock: Pink, Green and Natural - Jumbo pack - misc brand from Ocean State Job Lot (shocking, I know), SU! Tempting Turquoise (one of my favorites)
Stamps: Please Join Us (from ACM), SU! Warm words (another super favorite), Stampendous tiny Party Chick, Delight In Life
Ink: SU! Basic Black , Versamark (for the background flower on green cardstock)
Embellishments: SU! Turquoise grosgrain ribbon, Heidi Grace *bling* - on top of the Party Chick's hat, Sakura stardust pen - coloring in on Party Chick, SU! Corner Ticket Punch, SU! double hole punch (for ribbon), foam Pop-Dots - under chick, SU! 1 1/4" circle punch
