Hubba Hubba Hubby...

My Adventures With Bombshell Stamps!!!

My fantastic, gorgeous, smart, sexy, caring, loving and most amazing Husband just celebrated his birthday. His 21st birthday of course. ;) And you ALL know that no matter how large your stamp and paper collections are you STRUGGLE to make that really cool 'guy' card. Yes you can keep it simple, elegant, crisp and clean.

But if you want to really do it up...it can be difficult. NOT ANYMORE!!! I found Bombshell Stamps on someone's sidebar and it IMMEDIATELY sounded like something I'd be into. So I clicked and felt my jaw drop!!! It's as if these stamps were made FOR ME!! Or for me to USE anyway =)

For those of you who know my husband will know why he LOVED this card that I made him. Because honestly, if he had his druthers...he'd have ME popping out of a cake!!! But I told him that a pop out card is the best I got for him. LOL! He appreciated the sentiment.

Anyway - I wanted to do a long note style card 9 x 3 3/4. I used designer paper as my base, and layered further dp on top of that. You'll see on the inside I added ivory writing space on the top and the bottom of the card. It added a lot of stability as the DP I chose for the card base was not that thick and kept slipping so the ivory cardstock really helped.
I added 2 brads...one that looks like a flat head screw and one that looks like a phillips head. I used the sentiment from the DP "love conquers all" because if you know us...you know that it's the mantra for our life.

The gorgeous hottie peeking out is from the Girls Ruin set over at Bombshell.

I stamped her in basic black ink and proceeded to color her with my Copics. I used dense black sparkles for her brassiere and shoes and my silver sort of opaque Sakura pen for the top of her thigh highs. Her lips are done in red Sakura sparkly gel pen.

And my favorite is the inside...the Lil' Devil is from the Bombshell Angel set...which is equally as fabulous and I JUST ordered 2 more sets!! I'm an addict!!

Happy 21st Birthday my darling!! Many, many, many more wonderful ones to share!!

Thank you for visiting!!!
