I was so excited (not that I needed one) to have another excuse to show off Maigan Lynn's amazing Fairy Queen of Hearts exclusive set!!
I could stamp this on my wall I love it so much...The QOH would have to be at LEAST 6" tall - hmmmmmmmmmm....I'm getting some ideas here! LOL! But I digress...
I wanted to do something entirely different than I had done for Tuesday's new release blog hop so I started with my Acrylic Designer Paper from Hambly (LOVE THEIR PAPERS) and decided to just let THAT essentially be the focal point in lieu of multiple layers of DP.
But first, I stamped my sentiment as a peek-a-boo accent through the Acrylic paper. I stamped it in black and heat embossed it so it would seem more dimensional through the paper.
I then adhered the Hambly paper directly to PTI white cardstock. I then stamped and colored the QOH's accessories with my Colorbox Harbor Blue ink and my Copics. I carefully trimmed them out and placed them in relative yet not purposeful balance on the card with 3-D foam adhesive.
I looked over and saw this pink, plastic bracelet of my daughters...(they came in a pack of 10 or so). I asked her if I could use it in my creation and she said "SURE MUMMY!!" So I then took my utility scissors and snipped the plastic so I could thread it through the hole I had punched in the corner. I added a matching satin bow to the ring. I got the idea from a purse that I have that's exactly this design!! The handle is the ring...it's super cool. Inside the card is where our Queen is stamped!! Stamped in Harbor Blue to keep the continuity from the front, heat set and colored with my Copics. So in essence the card is relatively inside out!!I love this set and I know it's going to get A LOT of use!!! I'd seriously run to the shoppe because, if they haven't already they WILL sell out!!! There are 11 new Alice In Wonderland releases this month...they are all FANTASTIC!!! I can't wait to buy them all!!!
Happy Thursday Y'all!!
