Tiddly Inks - Challenge #48 - Vintage Mother's Day!

Morning Everyone!!

Thanks for dropping by on this amazing Tiddly Tuesday!!

I created today using one of the brand new Tiddly Inks images from our latest blog hop and new release!  I used one of Christy's pre-colored images "Passing Through". I'll be honest with you, I've never before used a pre-colored image but it was FABULOUS to work with.  It made it easy to put together a simple and crisp color scheme.
The photo had a vintage vibe to it in my opinion so I used a fun cluster of mixy and matchy embellishments to create a pretty accent point to my main image.  I used my navy blue seam binding as a balance element on the right hand side.

Some fun stitching and heavy distressing lended itself nicely to this piece.

I hope you are inspired to come join us at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!

Beautiful Meredith - LOVE the stitching that switches between straight and zigzag. Great little flowers too - the colors are gorgeous!

Great way to use a pre-coloured image. Love this card, it looks more like art then a paper craft. Wonderful embellishments. Love the changes in stitching, I'm not sure my machine can do that?

This turned out so beautifully, Meredith. Again, the stitching blows me away and love that the flowers have it too. I notice the x's and o's in the embossed kraft background. Is that a folder? Gotta have it! LOVE this! xxD
