TAWS post #16 - It's Been Too Long
Today I had stamped a few of these Southwestern-ish looking skulls onto my large pad of watercolor paper. I used my new Kurtake Gansai Tambi watercolor paints to color the entire sheet allowing the colors to mix and blend on their own. I then did some splatter painting over the top for some added visual interest. Once it was all dry I cut the images into their own individual panels allowing for a few card with slight varieties.
I used my notebook edge punch to embellish the top, matted the panel onto white, navy, turquoise before adding it to my kraft cardstock card base. I used the new set Yappy to add my sentiment and a few die cut stars using chunky, copperish colored, glitter paper from the open stock papers at Michaels. I used THIS die to cut the variety of stars out.
Thanks so much for joining me today!
