Happy Monday!! Meredith here with a water colored creation using Peguins on Parade and Words to Live By. I watercolored the adorable music listening penguin with my Kurtake paints.
I stamped my sentiment using Hero Arts black ink and I used Hero Arts cornflower ink for the stamped image below. I used a plethora of scrap papers that I had in my stash, a chalkboard sticker, some music washi tape, a wood veneer banner flag, some faceted self-adhesive embellishments and some beautiful grosgrain ribbon to finish everything off with a nice tidy bow!
I slightly distressed the edges of my layers to give it a very subtle vintage feel.
Thanks so much for coming by today!!

TAWS post #54 - Hello Beautiful Baby
Hi Friends! Meredith here bringing you a project that I made using three different Alley Way sets called Words To Live By, Little Fellas and All Washed Up. I did a wild and funky watercolored main image and then layered my papers keeping it cool and neutral. I created a little heart embellishment by cutting multiple hearts out of my favorite glitter paper and then stitching them together for a layered and dimensional look!
I love that this could be used for a birthday card or a welcome baby card! The possibilites are endless with these wonderful sets from The Alley Way Stamps!

TAWS post #34 - Watercolor Happiness
Hi TAWS friends!! Today my creation features two of my very favorite Alley Way sets called Flower Doodles and Words to Live By.
I started my creation by creating a large watercolored sheet. No rhyme or reason, I just let the paint go wherever it wanted to.
I LOVE painting like this as it's very freeing, easy and relaxing! Once it was all dry I cut the paper into panels for my cards. For this card I used Flower Doodles with my favorite Hero Arts black dye ink to add the stamped images randomly placed ~sort of~ so that my background had a bit of rhythm to it.
I used Words to Live By for my sentiment which I heat embossed using Liquid Platinum embossing powder onto a scrap of teal Bazzill Basics cardstock. I used Teresa Collins heart stickers for some minor embellishing.

TAWS post #28 - It's The Little Things...
Hi Friends!! I'm here today to post a simple but fun "wobbler" card! I'm using the newly released Phone Home set and a great sentiment set called Words to Live By. I started with a simple watercolored image that I added some orange accents using my Sakura Gellyroll pen. I used an older MFT sketch for my layout and added lots of stitching for some extra texture.
I was going to pop my image up using craft foam but then decided to use some recent inspiration that I saw over at Jennifer McGuire's blog to create a simple "action wobbler" card. I didn't have any of the real action wobblers on hand so I created my own with some simple accordion folding of scrap cardstock and evenly adhered it behind my panel. I love that this lies flat in the envelope but "pops" up when opened! It's super cute IRL.
I added some Glossy Accents to the eyeballs but it's hard to capture in the photo. Thanks so much for coming by today!!
