May Bombshell Sketch Challenge

Happy Saturday Everyone!! I'm here to bring you another version of the most gorgeous Bombshell (in my opinion) - Bombshell Angel! She has become my all time favorite. She is my go to when I want to create something super hot and sexy.

We are working with a sketch challenge today and here is the sketch that we were given to work with:

As you can see, I flipped it 90 degrees to the right. I changed it only slightly which is a little off for me as I usually try to recreate the sketch 100% but this one just kind of took on a life of it's own.

I started with a 6 x 5 cardstock base in Lake Blue from The Paper Source. I created a border along the bottom to mimic the sketch using my playing card punch. I stopped it at the bottom right hand corner as I wanted to use that space for my sentiment rather than centering it.
I then knew I wanted to keep this dark so I went to black cardstock for my next layer. I used clear beads to adorn the left side - adhering them down with my Diamond Glaze - these were in a pack of goodies from my dear friend Kelli!! (thank you!!!) Using PTI pure white cardstock I stamped my Angel in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink. She is colored with my Copic markers and slightly glittered up with a silver Sakura gel pen. I wanted a slightly vintage/antique look so I used my Tim Holtz Distress Ink in 'Vintage Photo' and ran it around the edges.
I then colored her sexy corseted outfit and hair with my Versamark pen, coated them both with clear embossing powder and heat set them. I LOVE how shiny and glam they came out!! The flower in her hair is also Copic colored and adorned with a tiny rhinestone.
I used my SU! corner punch to create the corner which I also adorned with 3 baby rhinestones.
I used the simple sentiment "Bombshell" in the bottom right corner, stamped onto Kraft cardstock and backed with a cool grey/black grungy style Designer Paper. The sentiment is popped up on 3-D foam adhesive to give it a bit of added dimension.
I had SO much fun working on May's sketch challenge! I can't wait to see what's up for next month!!

Don't forget to hop or come join us for May 26th's Bombshell Blog Hop!!!

XOXO-
