QKD'S Monochromatic Coolness!!

Hey All!! Happy Tuesday Hop Everyone!! I'm so excited to share some delicious inspiration with you today!

But first...if you've come here from the WIS blog then you are on the right track!! If not please start HERE so that you don't miss anything!!
Today's assignment was to work with neutrals and monochromatic tones. I chose Green as my color for and brown as my neutral. I'm using the QKD peapod stamp (a fabulous older stamp) that I stamped in Momento Black ink and colored with my Copics.

I then trimmed it out and set it aside.

I then chose my background leaf paper (Martha Stewart) and layered it with a piece of green cardstock. I corner rounded the base and subsequent layers. I used a strip of scrap green distressed paper for the middle. I adhered it all down and stitched around the edges.
I then added a die cut tag, complete with green brad and a rub on that says "new arrival". I used this fluffy green fibery ribbon to accent the center as well.
I then adhered my peapod and heart on using 3-D foam adhesive. I LOVE how this came out and I have the perfect person in mind for this when the time is right!!
I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired!!

Now hop along to Anita's blog to see what she's got in store!!

XOXO
Meredith
