Greetings Friends!! Happy Tuesday!! I'm here bringing you another Tiddly Challenge!! This week our challenge is Attitude!! Translate - skulls, punky, bad to the bone, etc. =) My first thought was to use Lilli Lolita! I just LOVE her!!!
I colored Lilli in with my Prismacolor pencils and blended my color with Burt's Bees Apricot Baby Oil. I paper pieced her outfit, trimmed her out, glazed up her awesome "Doc Maartens" and set her to dry overnight. I then worked on my background. I was going to do a card but I had an old OLD broken cigar box sitting on my desk. It was calling to me. The bottom of the box is broken so I threw that away and utilized the top.
Using my Crop-O-Dile I punched two holes at the top of my panel. I then painted the top with turquoise acrylic paint and set it to dry. Once dry I started embellishing.
I used a mish mash of papers from a K&Company matte stack that I've been loving on lately. I then raided my embellishment drawer for buttons, rhinestones, chipboard, mosaic tiles and hanging notions do flair Lilli up. I made this into a hanging display piece for my darling daughter's room!
To add a bit more visual interest, I tied some of my favorite skull ribbon halfway up the twine hanger.
I'm hoping you've enjoyed and been inspired!! Please come play along with us this week over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!!
Till next time!!
