SOG - Spunky Sprite

Yes, sniff, sniff!  It's the last day of the gorgeous fairy releases over at Some Odd Girl.  Today's stunning fairy is named - appropriately - Spunky Sprite.  Oh she's just so sassy!!  I printed her out three times.  Once on Copic Xpress blending paper, and then twice on two different patterned papers.  I colored her first with my Copics and then paper pieced her dress, and her right arm so that it had the proper proportions.  I then paper pieced another layer (see the red ruffle on her dress?) for added dimension.

I created my monochromatic white background on SU! Shimmery White paper using an entire alphabet stamp set, Versamark Ink and clear embossing powder.

I perched Spunky on a lengthened banner strip cut out of Kraft cardstock, layered with TH decorative tape that I simply tore at the edge.  I used die cut letters to create my simple sentiment "ily" - I Love You.  Just so sweet =)

For my interior, I used the heart and arrow accents from the beautiful Crushin' Gwen clear set.

I do hope you've enjoyed our fabulous fairy release this week!  Come on by and check out the newest challenge over at the Some Odd Girl Challenge Blog!
