Bombshell Monthly Blog Hop - She's a Firecracker!!!

Bombshell!!! Ya...that's what I said....you're here for the always fantastically awesome montly Bombshell Blog hop!!!

Here is this month's challenge:

She's a Firecracker Alright! I would love to see something along the lines of: 1) Red - White - Blue 2) Firecrackers (Bombshells) 3) Military 4) or sparkling like a firework!

Here is this month's prize package:

I used one of my very favorite sets "Man's Ruin". I ran with a variation on a red, white and blue color scheme.

I started with a 5 x 7 cardbase of chocolate PTI cardstock, layered next with a brilliant light blue cardstock. I then chose 6 different strips of DP in coordinating but not so coordinating patterns and colors. I layered them on top of each other and stitched around the edges.
I then chose a different stitch for each seam for each of the individual papers. I love the texture and dimension that the variety of stitches gives the background.

I did this because I love using the Bombshell girls mostly alone in their own panel. They are too gorgeous, in my opinion, to fuss up by putting too much around them. I like them to be the main focus of the eye.

I stamped Man's Ruin in on white PTI cardstock in Black Momento Ink. I colored her with my Copics and sparkly Sakura gel pens. And I have her swimming around and swilling a delicious Cosmopolitan Martini. I used my Diamond Glaze to liquefy the scrumptious beverage.
I used the flower from the "Butterfly Queen" set to accent a tiny bit on the navy blue, pleated ribbon and just one next to our beauty's glass. I added a blinged out American Crafts brad in the center of the flower. My sentiment from the "Man's Ruin" set is stamped in Colorbox Harbor Blue ink and heat embossed. I edged the main layer with the same color and also heat embossed the edges so that the entire panel would pop off of the page.

The navy pleated ribbon was the icing on the cake for this bit of loveliness!!

I hope you have enjoyed my creation!!! Please keep on hopping to the other AMAZING ladies that are joining in on today's hop!!

And don't forget to come play in the Bombshell Forum!!! It's SUCH a fantastic place to be!!!
