QKD Fabulous Tuesday Hop!

Welcome to another fabulous week of hopping with our amazing QKD team!! I must admit that I love that we have our entire team hopping together. I feel so unified with the rest of my girls!! =)

First and foremost you should have come here via Anita's fabulous blog however, if you have simply happened up on here you simply must start HERE so that you don't miss one fantastic creation!!! Today's hop is a sketch inspired challenge. I'm now also designing for the Dark Ink Sorority so I had SO much fun grunging my creation up!! However, I'm learning that grungy doesn't always have to be physically dark. So I started with Strawberry cardstock from The Paper Source as my 5 1/4" x 5 1/4 " cardbase.
I used the Moments In Time background stamp from the Ink Stained Roni line. Which is new and freakin' PHENOMENAL!!!

I used Tim Holtz's distressing ink in Wild Honey so it would show just enough.

My next layer is actually 3 different papers stitched together.
  • Making Memories - Passport (left)
  • IOD - Iron Orchid Designs (top right)
  • My Mind's Eye - 29th Street Market (bottom right)
My stars are cardstock stickers from Karen Foster Designs from the Motorcycles line. I stamped Irene Tan's Aged Compass in Wild Honey on the top right hand section and my sentiment reads "Je t'aime." Which means "I Love You" in French. This sentiment is also from the Ink Stained Roni line using the Mon Amour Set.
I then stitched my 3 sections together. I added a row of red pom poms to the bottom and then used a wide zig zag stitch to hold everything in place.
I hope you are having as fabulous of a time hopping as I am!! Now off you scoot to the WIS blog to see what gorgeousness is happening over there!!

And don't forget to check out the 3 BRAND NEW stamp lines at The Castle!!! Get your wallet out!!! =)
