Halloween is Hoppin' at Tiddly Inks

Happy Halloween!!! Tiddly Inks Style!! Everyone is rockin' Christmas in July...well Christy has decided that it's Halloween in July here at TI!!! I couldn't be more excited! I LOVEEEEEEEEE Halloween as much as I love Valentine's Day!!! hehehe...
I was THRILLED beyond THRILLED when Christy recently released all of the new fabulous Halloween-esque images. I had a VERY hard time deciding which to use...because CLEARLY...I had to purchase them all!! (hehe!) But I like to bust out and try new things all the time so I went with Portence. I love her because she's gothy, a tiny bit creepy, and eerie all at the same time. Oh and btw...I kinda made her into a zombie! LOL!!
I started by coloring my image with my Copic markers. I colored Portence's skin a pale grey, using orange highlights in her hair with the majority of it remaining jet black. I used the Copic color Moon White for her "cheeky smile", orange for her shirt and black for her neck cuff.
I wanted the trim around the mirror to have some sort of "guilding" to it so I used silver stickles to outline the entire thing. I then used my newest stash of papers from My Mind's Eye that I picked up at Michael's the other day. The line is called "the Spider's Web" by Carina Gardner. All of the DP you see are from the same line just the reverse of each other.

My card base is Bazzil textured cardstock that I turned inside out as I enjoyed the color more on the inside (brighter) in a color called Stiletto Heels (something close to that). I then layered black cardstock and stitched it down with a wide zig zag in yellow thread to make it pop.
I then stitched the other layers that I'd paired up together and adhered them all down. I used Crystal Stickers - Clusters to create the top left corner bling effect along with some Making Memories Chipboard Alpha Stickers from the Spellbound collection. I only used the stars (no letters) to add some visual balance to the entire card. I hope you enjoy hopping around and seeing all of the GORGEOUS creations that everyone is making with Christy's delicious and fabulous Tiddly Inks images!! They are simply TO DIE FOR!!! (bwahahahahhhahaha)
Thanks for visiting and leaving some love!! Please leave love for all of the other designers who worked so hard in their creating to participate in this fab hop!!!
