Happy New Years!! Tiddly Style!!!

Good Morning and Happy New Year's Eve!!  I'm writing while still on vacation.  My kids are out in the barn with their Aunt feeding the horses, chickens, ducks and geese while I steal away for a few minutes by the fire to post my NYE creations starring two of the newest Tiddly Inks Images!

Happy New Year
Baby New Year (which you can get as a Freebie here thanks to Christy!!)

I had so much fun creating with these two images and I have one more to come later!!!

My first card is with the new Happy New Year image.  I went with wintery hues of blues and ivory.

My image is colored with my Copics and Prismacolor markers.  I then trimmed it out and used my white gel pen to create "bubbles" in the champagne which I then went over and covered with my Quickie Glue Pen and coated in yellow Doodlebug glitter.  I set the image aside to dry.

My card measures 5.5x5.5".  I used my jumbo scallop punch for the black polka dotted paper and my heart punch to create the line of hearts just under the white, cotton lace ribbon.
I also used my corner rounder only in the upper left hand corner to round most of the layers added.  I used the new sentiments, also available on the TI Blog.  I used my Brilliance Pearlescent Blue to sponge the edges of my sentiment to make it pop.

I used a partial rhinestone strip, three brads, blue fiber and the lace ribbon as my embellishments.  I added my main image to the card using 3-D adhesive squares.
My second card uses the ADORABLE Baby New Year.  Once again, colored with my Copics and Prismacolor markers.  I trimmed him out and coated the interior and trim of his hat with chunky, silver glitter.

I went with a palette of black, red, white, silver and gold.  Very festive!!  Once again, I used my jumbo scallop punch to create the shaped edge of my card and it's subsequent 2 layers.  I used a pre-cut edge border for the left hand side of the card.  I then used red ribbon with white stitching to tie a neat knot over my border piece.
I added 3 stick pins in my knot for an added zing =).  I used a PTI sentiment "celebrate" inked in Brilliance Pearlescent Black and with my Lipstick Red Copic, added dots in the small scalloped edging of the back of my border die cut.
New Year's Baby is popped up on 3-D foam adhesive.

I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired!!

See you all later with more crafty goodness!

Crafty Hugs!
