Tiddly Inks Challenge #32 - Let It Snow!

Hello Everyone!!  Happy Tuesday!!  I'm thrilled to bring you our 32nd challenge today!!!  SNOW!! I wanted to go truly traditional in my creation today so I chose to work with Christy's adorable Snowman Sid!
 Isn't he the cutest???

I started out by coloring Snowman Sid in with my Copic and Prismacolor markers.  He is then trimmed out and coated in MS glitter.  I added the black buttons threaded with twine on after his glitter treatment dried.

My cardstock measures 6" x 8" which was then scored and folded.  I cut my two layering pieces, the red and the red polka dotted papers.  They are both edge distressed with white craft ink.  I stitched these two layers together with ivory thread, using a border stitch on my sewing machine.

I used a basic white office supply store tag upon which I stamped a star from SU! in red craft ink and heat embossed it.  I removed the plain white thread that the tag came with and added a scrap of vintage linen and tucked behind my tag is a piece of vintage wool both came from my local antique store.

A finishing touch on the right hand side are the felt stickers from MS.

What a year it has been for the fabulous Tiddly Inks!!!  I am so excited and VERY MUCH looking forward to a FANTASTIC New Year and a wonderful 2011 with Christy and my fellow unbelievable Design Team members!!

Please remember to check out the entire DT's work and please play along here!!

I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired!!

Crafty Hugs!!

Meredith
