I'm now working on 3 different sketch challenges. Here is the sketch for Sketch Challenge No. 1:

So I of course thought of Christmas. But I've done a few Christmas cards in the last week or so therefore I chose to do a simple card with the sentiment inside that says Miss You from the Sweet Memories Mini Set. It's a TOTAL go-to for me.
I had only a teeny scrap of gold paper left so I had to work sparingly with that. I started with a white card base of 5x7. I then used this shimmery green paper as my next matte. For the next panel I used my Library Card Background stamp.
I stamped it in Brilliance Black Pigment. I heat set it but before it was 100% dry I went at it with my sanding block. I also went around the edges with my distressing tool. I matched the same size paper up for the bottom slice which is from last year from SU!. I zig zag stitched these 2 pieces together and adhered them to the green base panel.
I then added my sheer gold ribbon (cutting a notch in the fold of the card so I could wrap it all the way around and tie a cutie bow.

My last panel is my favorite. The Vintage Time Background stamp is one of my favorites. I inked it both Colorbox Olive Pigment ink and Brilliance Black Pigment ink (basically one on top of the other), I stamped on the white paper and heat embossed. I love how it came out!!! I then matted it 1/4" sequentially with green and polka dotted SU! paper. For my embellishment I used a piece of SU! chipboard with the same dotted paper behind it. This is also sitting on a square foam dot.
I am mailing this tomorrow to a friend. And I can't wait until she gets it!!
Thanks for reading!!!
XOXO
