Tempting Lorali Thursdays Featuring Indy

I LOVE all of Maigan's work ... and I mean ALL of it. I'm constantly in awe of her work. But there are some that I'm more in love with than others. Indy...falls into this category.

I find her (Indy) to be sexy, snarky, and completely fabulous! I wanted to go with a cutsie edgy look, punky but not hardcore.

I inked Indy in Brilliance Pigment Ink in Gold and then covered parts of her with SU! red embossing glitter. I let her set for a bit, distressed her edges, haphazardly covered her with Versamark Dazzle ink and clear embossing powder. I finished the image panel by corner rounding the top right and bottom left corners. I really like how it came out. I've never NOT colored in one of Maigan's images but I figured I'd give it a try. And I'm glad I did because if I'd colored her in it would look rather insane with all that's going on in the background!

I adhered Indy to a slice of kraft paper, corner rounded the matching corners and punched holes all around the perimeter. I then used black, leather cording to "stitch" around the border. I LOVE how this looks!! It's kind of doodly and scallopy all at the same time!
I found this paper at Michael's during a recent trip. I grabbed a few sheets because it's just so ME. But I didn't like the order in which the decorative strips were placed on the page. So...I cut them apart and stitched them together! So I kind of 'quilted' for lack of a better word, the background paper together. It's EXACTLY how I wanted it!!
It needed a few more things but subtle things...because there's already a LOT going on. I used a funky paperclip (left side) and tied it with grey and black ribbon (this can be used as a bookmark!!) and on the right hand side of the card (Indy's left) I used 3 paperclip style embellishments. They say BLISS, PROMISE, and CELEBRATE. 3 very meaningful words in my life right now!!!
