  • 2 buttons
You may use any Robyn's Fetish or other image that you have. However, if you DO use a RF image you will be entered into the random drawing twice to win!!!

The winner (who will be chosen at random) will win 6 of Robyn's Images FREE!! There's no reason NOT to play!!

This challenge will end next Friday and the winner will be announced before next week’s new challenge is issued.

This week I chose to make a masculine card as my Dad's birthday is coming up. I started with PTI Scarlet Jewel and Enchanted Evening as my 2 colors of cardstock.
I am using the Gifts as my image today. I enlarged it using MS Paint and colored in the left and right hand side plus the bow in MS Paint. I then printed it out and trimmed it up. I used my first bling in the tiny dots on the gift wrap with my sparkly Sakura gel pen.
For my first piece of ribbon, I cut a strip of French Blue SU! ribbon for the center of the gift. I adhered it with redliner tape. On either side of the ribbon I used these cool metal embellishments as my second piece of bling. I added foam pop dots to the back and set it aside.

I then worked on pleating my ivory and navy blue ribbons with my sewing machine. I adhered the red bandana paper by Creative Imaginations (hooked on this brand lately) to the base of Scarlet Jewel - which is a card base of 5.5 x 5.5.

The next layer is a slice of My Mind's Eye DP from the Jen Wilson 29th Street Market collection and it's stitched in white zig zag to a slightly larger piece of the PTI Enchanted Evening.
I then added my layered, stitched and ruffled ribbon using redliner tape. I placed my gift on top adhering it with the pop dots. As a last touch I added the silver and navy buttons tied with twine from The Paper Source to the upper left hand side.My sentiment is from the VERY FIRST STAMP set that I have ever purchased!!! At my very first SU! workshop run by my darling friend Sarah. The sentiment itself was punched out using my 1" SU! punch and adhered with a pop dot. The blue/greenish paper inside is the back side of the My Mind's Eye DP used on the front. I hope you like my creation and PLEASE don't forget...if you play along (please play!! ;) you will need to add a link to your creation in the comments section of the Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog in order to be entered to win your 6 free images!!!

Please go and check out our fabulous team's work!!! You will be SURE to find gorgeousness and TONS of inspiration!!

Good luck and happy creating!!!

XOXOXO-
Meredith

I love your card! I haven't used stitching in my cards yet. Probably would help if I got a sewing machine first. :) That will be my next purchase.
