Bombshell Monthly Bloghop!! Just Halloween!
Happy *almost* Halloween!!! I'm so excited!!! I'm thrilled to be here today joining my fellow gorgeous Bombshell Gals in our monthly hop!!
This month's theme was what else but...Halloween!!
I pulled out a few of my girls and colored them up as I was going to use multiple images on my card but as I started my placement....they all seemed crowded and not quite right.
Butterfly Queen. I tucked the rest of my pre-colored images in the pocket book that I made last month!! =) I colored her in with my Copics and set her aside. I used lots of Halloween-y colors and sparkles!!
My cardbase is light green measuring at 5.5x5.5. My next layers are all from a fantastic mat stack that I picked up at Michael's at the beginning of the Halloween season. It's just fabulous! I've used it for so much yet my creations look all different! LOVE IT!
Anyhoo...I layered three fab pieces of the DP using my cracked punch from MS on the last layer so that the orange really popped.
I ran stitching around the edges with purple thread in a zig zag pattern as well as in a straight stitch. I added three strips of black, green and pearl adhesive strips to the left side. I added a MS Halloween 3-D sticker to the bottom right hand corner.
My sentiment was printed out in MS Word, edge inked and backed with purple cardstock. Before adhering my girl to the card I ran a bow of orange and black polka dotted ribbon. Through my bow I've added a darling rhinestone buckle and another piece of black and white ticked ribbon. I then added Butterfly Queen with 3-D foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoy and have been inspired!!
Keep hopping along to see all of the gorgeousness that awaits!
